Document Management System

The Correspondence Module - Incoming/Outgoing Document Management

The IDIT™ Correspondence Module is an advanced document management system that is deeply integrated into IDIT™’s component-based architecture. It provides a complete solution to all the paper and paperless information aspects of the insurance cycle.

The Correspondence Module
  • Manages incoming and outgoing documents
  • Supports documents from multiple channels & formats & handles classification, archiving and annotation of documents
  • Provides  loading capabilities of documents from multiple channels (mail, email, fax, scanning etc.)
  • Ensures incoming insurance documents are automatically catalogued and attached to relevant policy objects (contacts, proposals, policies, claims)
  • Provides template-based document creation and printing functionality for full customization & optimization of outgoing documents
  • Allows advanced document viewing, annotation, & archiving
  • Provides extensive outgoing document management including document reproduction for multi-lingual support and dispatch via email, fax & regular mail

The Correspondence Module is a sub-set of the Workflow system. This means documents are associated with and are inherent to any workflow.

Imaging functionality is an additional component of this module and offers full mailroom support:  incoming documents are loaded optically and catalogued.  Paper documents are scanned while emails and faxes are converted into suitable formats that can be viewed by IDIT™ users.

IDIT™’s innovative paperless environment improves efficiency by preventing costly paperwork & document storage without compromising traditional insurance correspondence or document integrity
